Terms of service

These terms govern the Dodo scanner, the Dodo Scan companion app and the Dodo cloud service, operated by Hashtee Lab. Using the service means you accept them.

The service

Dodo captures documents and turns them into structured records, delivered to your app, your integrations, or your storage. Extraction is performed by machine-learning models: it can be wrong. Review your records — especially before acting on financial or legal data. Records carry a review status for exactly this reason.

Your account

Keep your credentials and API keys secret; actions taken with them count as yours. You must be 18 or older. One person or business per account.

Your content

Documents you scan and records extracted from them remain yours. You grant us only the processing rights needed to run the service. Scan only documents you are entitled to process.

Acceptable use

No unlawful content, no attempts to break, overload or probe the service, no reselling access without our agreement, no processing of other people's personal documents without a lawful basis.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is, without warranty of uninterrupted operation or perfect extraction. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
